How to check if a domain is for sale
Use DNS and website evidence to find a public sale signal.
Look for explicit evidence
Enter the exact domain in our checker. A valid FORSALE1 version marker under _for-sale is a published indication of sale intent. Review the raw records and validation details before relying on a price or contact link.
Look at the current website
A domain can serve an active website while also being for sale. Conversely, a parking page may earn advertising revenue without offering the domain. A marketplace destination is suggestive, but you should inspect the actual listing.
What if no sale signal appears?
No signal is not a refusal to sell. You can inspect the site’s public contact information or use a domain broker. We cannot infer an owner’s willingness to sell from a missing TXT record.
Can I register it instead?
This service does not check registrar inventory or confirm registration availability. Consult a registrar for registration availability and applicable registration terms. A failed DNS query alone is not enough.
