RFC 10023 specificationGenerate sale records for your domain →
Publish a domain sale signal
At your current DNS provider, add separate TXT records named _for-sale. Some providers require the full name _for-sale.example.com. You normally do not need to change nameservers.
Example values — replace the price and address with your own information:
v=FORSALE1;fval=EUR799 v=FORSALE1;ftxt=This domain is for sale v=FORSALE1;furi=mailto:seller@example.com
Each line is one TXT record, with one character-string of at most 255 bytes. Use a TTL of 3600 seconds or less. Delete sale records when the offer is withdrawn.
